Our Church's Mission

Our Lord Jesus Christ in the 28th chapter of St. Matthew says "Go and make disciples of all nations." Our church name includes the word "evangelical" (Good News). We therefore recognize a local and world-wide mission responsibility to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to others.

This Good News means that God has declared the world forgiven for Christ's sake, and we believe it to be our salvation. In grateful response our congregation will provide the opportunities to share this Gospel with unchurched persons in the local community and the world at large.
St. Matthew 10:8: "Freely you have received; freely give."

To pursue this Christian mission our church will clearly teach the Gospel to every member (children, young persons, and adults). Our church will also provide ways to strengthen each member's faith in God's love and salvation to the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
