OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE
ADVENT AND LENT SUPPERS
Prepare a meal in the church kitchen for fellow members before and Advent or Lenten
Church service, or simply gather with us for those meals.
ALTAR GUILD
The Altar Guild joins together the women of the congregation who are interested in serving their Lord through the care of the altar and it’s furnishings. They care for the communion ware, altar, lectern, and pulpit par aments and set up for each of the communion services.
CHOIR
The Senior Choir enhances our worship services and brings praise to our Lord. You are invited to add your gift of voice or musical talents. See Doug Nass
DELEGATES
Delegates are needed from time to time, to represent our congregation at synod conventions and other functions through out the year. See Pastors
GREETERS
Greeters are responsible for welcoming visitors and members who come to worship.
This is an excellent way to meet new friends and make our visitors feel welcome.

LIBRARY
Work with the Librarian, cataloguing and advertising library resources for the church library. Write book reviews. Help return books to shelves. See Tina Paustian
NEW MEMBER SPONSOR
A Sponsor helps new members feel that our congregation is their church, and so offers his/her personal friendship and attention and helps them become active and involved in our congregation.
PHOTOGRAPHER
Take pictures of the various organizations, events, and activities of the church. (This position is currently open) See Jim Pieper
PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
Help with various jobs always needed around church and school. See Richard Puder
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
Work together with other members in planning any church and fellowship events such as church picnic, Christmas tree decorating, hiking, biking, pot locks, camping, golf, etc.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER OR SUBSTITUTE
Teachers and assistants are needed. They receive training and support in this
important ministry.
USHERS
The ushers assist worshipers, distribute service bulletins, light the service candles, receive the offerings, and in general seek to make our worship experience an orderly and meaningful one. Each usher team serves once every four weeks. See Pete Matson
YOUTH GROUPS
Leaders and helpers are needed for the various groups involving our young people. (Boys Pioneers Leader needed)
